How it works

Four steps between the National Bank of Cambodia's published rate and the number that shows up in your ERP.

01

Record

NBC publishes its official exchange rate each working day, in the late afternoon. RielSync picks up that rate and records it against the date NBC published it for, so the number in your books is always traceable back to the source.

02

Validate

Each new rate is checked against recent history. A move outside the normal range is held for review rather than written straight into your books. If NBC has not published for a given date, nothing is recorded for it and no stale value is carried forward.

03

Push

Once validated, the rate is written into your ERP through its API. Odoo has a direct integration out of the box. Anything else connects over a REST call or webhook, so any platform with an API can receive the rate.

04

Monitor

Every sync lands in a run log, whether it succeeded or not. The dashboard shows current status, full rate history, and anything flagged, so your finance team can confirm the number without opening the ERP.

Common questions

What if NBC has not published a rate for a date?

Nothing is written, and the previous rate is never reused in its place. The dashboard shows that date as a gap rather than an error, which is what weekends and public holidays look like.

Does it work with platforms besides Odoo?

Yes. Odoo is supported directly, and any other platform with a REST API or webhook can be connected.

How is the rate validated?

Each new rate is compared against recent history. A move outside the normal range is flagged for manual review rather than applied automatically.
